To schedule operational time; Ensure information systems equipment effectively utilised, coordinate preventive maintenance with operating requirements and provide 3rd tier support for FNB products
experience and qualifications
Degree or Diploma and required Certification
2 Years related experience and previous product knowledge.
Previous experience on 2nd or 3rd level Support
FNB product knowledge (specifically Business Internet Solutions)
A good understanding of FNB offerings ie Online Banking, CAMS, PACS and EDO with focus on Mainframe products
Computer literate in terms of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet
Exposure to other general banking products and processes would be beneficial
Additional information and responsibilities
In accordance with National Credit Act (NCA) candidates applying for this role will require a credit record check.
Drive business profitability in the context of cost management through Information technology solutions
Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost effectiveness
Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
Cultivate and manage objective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including end-users, SME’s, project managers and senior staff members by providing input to business requirements
Resolving of escalated queries within required SLA period from Contact Centre
Ensure appropriate IT Operational times are scheduled and monitor achievements against execution
Provision of an efficient administration service through careful and timeous planning, reporting and updating of all related IT Production information, incident reports, daily stats etc.
Monitor changes in legislation, regulations, initiatives and relevant industry practices. Ensure drafting and implementation of appropriate interventions. Ensure compliance with audit requirements
Ensure information systems equipment effectively are utilised and coordinate preventive maintenance with operating requirements.
Ensure IT Front-end and Back-end process and product enhancements and make recommendation to improve service and processes for 3rd tier support of FNB IT products
Manage own development to increase own competencies
Remain abreast of Front-end and Back-end products and process developments
